Ballerina, Pepito, Tony - The Spinning Top Trio

In 2016 Spring Copenhagen launch The Spinning Top Trio - designed by SHFT. The idea behind The Spinning Top Trio was to create design ikons that at the same time could be playful and be used in the everyday life.

Jan Bringø Bachmann and Benjamin Hansen are the minds behind the SHFT world of design.
Since 2002, the two inspired designers have brought their playful ideas to life with unique marks of patterns, colours, shapes and humour.
 

“The Ballerina spun into the world in a pirouette of walnut and oak and plays the female lead in the Spinning Top Trio. She spins and whirls in the art of dance – showered with admiring glances from the young Pepito and the confident Tony, both of whom love how she moves with ease and elegance. We’re left to wonder: who does the Ballerina have in her thoughts as she spins?”

“When you set the young Pepito spinning, he thunders about like a bull in a china closet. But underneath his walnut and oak exterior, he is a bit of a bashful and sensitive dreamer.
